Packaging Operator - All Shifts - kdc/one Columbus
About The Position
KDC is seeking a detail-oriented, safety-conscious Packaging Operator to work on a production team at its New Albany facility. The operator helps ensure products are packaged according to customer specifications and quality standards in a fast-paced, climate-controlled environment. The role is described as an entry-level position, and training is provided for candidates without manufacturing experience. The position lists first, second, and third shifts, each Monday through Friday. Pay is $14.75–$16.75. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow work instructions.

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

- Knowledge of FDA, GMP, and OSHA safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble containers, closures, and carton systems.
- Pack finished products according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare pallets for shipment using electric pallet jacks and shrink-wrap machines.
- Check product quality to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in a climate-controlled production environment.
- Collaborate with the team and help train others.
