About The Position

KDC/one Columbus is hiring an Incoming Quality Inspector for its beauty and personal care manufacturing facility in New Albany, Ohio. The role ensures incoming components and labels meet quality standards and customer specifications, helping maintain production flow and product quality. The position works Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and may involve overtime and additional duties as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 2 years of experience in quality inspection or a technical/mechanical field.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

College coursework preferred.
Familiarity with SAP and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming components using certified tools and ANSI/ASQC standards.
Receive and inspect labels in SAP using scanning software and customer specifications.
Record and scan inspection results into the appropriate database.
Perform form, fit, and function testing on new components.
Use SAP transactions to contain or release components and labels.
Maintain and create inspection standards for components and labels.
Communicate quality alerts and issues to management and team members.
Place non-conforming items on hold and assist with troubleshooting.
Conduct AQL inspections when needed.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on quality concerns.
Ensure compliance with FDA GMPs and company quality systems.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for inspection.
Follow and promote company safety and environmental policies.
Complete required documentation and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
Support overtime and additional duties as needed.
