About The Position

KDC/one Columbus is hiring a full-time Machine Operator for the third shift, Monday through Friday. The operator helps produce beauty and personal care products by keeping production equipment running smoothly and safely. The role includes making basic adjustments and troubleshooting, cleaning and changing equipment between production runs, entering product details and completing basic records, and working with maintenance on preventative tasks and equipment care. Operators also monitor batches for quality, labeling, and accuracy; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; and support and train teammates, stepping in for the Line Lead when needed. The position offers a starting pay of $19.50 per hour and a potential path to Line Lead positions and other long-term growth.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined, with an interest in fixing, adjusting, or troubleshooting equipment.
• Comfortable using a computer for basic data entry and tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset.
• Ability to follow work instructions and GMP standards.
• Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around active machinery and wearing PPE.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two or more years of manufacturing, production, or other hands-on experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
