About The Position

KDC is hiring a QA Inspector to help ensure products meet quality standards for appearance, weight, regulatory compliance, and other specifications. The role leads inspection activities, supports investigations, and contributes to continuous improvement on the production floor. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with pay of $20.25–$21.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience in a quality-related role, ideally in manufacturing.
Proficiency with measuring and testing devices.
Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Understanding of FDA GMPs and OSHA safety standards.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Clear communication and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential issues.

Nice To Haves

College coursework preferred.
Familiarity with SAP.

Responsibilities

Evaluate product defects during inspections and recommend solutions.
Inform Quality Management of significant issues or trends.
Investigate failures and deviations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate schedules and support new product launches in collaboration with production teams.
Ensure staff receive appropriate training in operations, cGMPs, safety, and environmental practices.
Verify ongoing quality checks for appearance, weight, torque, and other specifications.
Audit production records and forms for accuracy and completeness.
Assist with daily quality checks and support the team as needed.
Maintain compliance with FDA GMP regulations and company quality systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
