About The Position

This position ensures the professional, accurate, and timely processing of will-call orders. It is customer-facing at the will-call desk and handles the transactional side of the will-call process. The role also involves selecting and coordinating customer orders, supporting customer service and sales processes, and performing other assigned duties during downtime. The work takes place in areas with temperature and humidity variations, including non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen environments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift products weighing 10–75 pounds, and up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Frequently bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift and retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures, including cooler and/or freezer environments.
• Ability to speak effectively with customers or associates and listen effectively to facilitate two-way communication.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Proficient problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to use a data entry portal or CRT.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• One year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• One year of selection experience.
• Two years of consistent work history preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sales support as needed.
• Enter national accounts special orders and customer orders.
• Perform duties as assigned during downtime.
• Support the customer request-for-credit process.
• Coordinate customer will-call orders, including generating and coordinating pickups.
• For the Employee Cash Sales Program, make inventory lists, distribute lists, take orders, and hand out orders.
