About The Position

The Inbound Supervisor oversees all inbound operations, including receiving, inspection, and inventory management. This role ensures accurate and timely receipt of goods, proper documentation, and efficient put-away processes. The position focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing receiving workflows, and supporting warehouse organization to meet operational goals. This role requires proficiency in NetSuite WMS for managing receiving workflows and inventory accuracy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse receiving and inventory control.
  • Forklift certification and knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite WMS and related inventory management systems or similar software.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all inbound shipments, ensuring accurate verification against purchase orders.
  • Oversee unloading, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during unloading and handling.
  • Resolve supplier discrepancies and communicate issues promptly.
  • Utilize NetSuite WMS to process inbound shipments, verify purchase orders, and manage put-away tasks.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Oversee bin location assignments and put-away processes.
  • Monitor and report on inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage inventory adjustments and negative inventory resolution.
  • Implement best practices for receiving and inventory control using Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of receiving and inventory processes.
  • Lead daily huddles to review priorities and productivity goals.
  • Train team members on receiving procedures, inventory systems, and safety protocols.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
