Inbound Sales Representative (Early Career)

Meadow
$72 - $100Remote

About The Position

Meadow is modernizing end-of-life care - an industry unchanged for 70 years. In under two years, we became the largest independent funeral home in California and are now expanding across the US. We just closed our Series A and are building fast. Backed by top-tier investors, founded by alumni of Stripe, Google, and Opendoor. We’re building the best sales team in the service economy. If you believe sales can feel like service and want the rare satisfaction of guiding families when it matters most - this is your on-ramp. About the Role: We're hiring an Inbound Sales Representative to join our team from anywhere in the United States - fully remote, full time. This is a warm inbound role - every call is with a family that has already expressed interest. No cold outreach, no prospecting, no door-knocking. Just real conversations where your job is to listen, build trust, and help families make a confident decision. We're hiring for both of our inbound sales teams - at-need and preplanning - and will match you to the right fit based on your background and strengths. Think less "hard sell" and more trusted advisor - the kind of sales experience that actually builds a career. This is an ideal role if you're early in your sales journey and want to develop real skills in a structured, high-support environment - with a clear path to growth as the company scales.

Requirements

  • Are early in your sales career and hungry to develop - 1–3 years of experience is fine if the drive is there.
  • Are a natural on the phone - warm, clear, and able to make people feel at ease quickly.
  • Treat follow-up as a discipline. You don't let things slip and you take your pipeline seriously.
  • Are motivated by the work itself. Helping families navigate something hard and coming out feeling good about it - that matters to you.
  • Are coachable and self-directed. You take feedback well, reflect on your own calls, and don't need to be chased to improve.
  • Are comfortable in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where the playbook is still being written and your input actually shapes it.

Nice To Haves

  • You speak Spanish. Many of the families we serve are Spanish-speaking.
  • You have some experience in a high-trust context - insurance, healthcare, financial services, or anywhere that requires earning confidence rather than applying pressure.
  • You've worked at a startup or in tech and know how to thrive with autonomy and a lean team.

Responsibilities

  • Take warm inbound calls and guide families through their options using a consultative, empathy-first approach.
  • Ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and build the trust families need to feel confident moving forward.
  • Follow up via phone, text, and email with consistency and care - treating follow-through as a discipline, not an afterthought.
  • Build urgency and value while keeping the customer experience at the center of every interaction.
  • Own your pipeline and results: track what's working, flag what isn't, and continuously improve your process.
  • Learn and grow through structured coaching, call reviews, and ongoing training - you'll have real support as you ramp.
  • Work in a modern sales stack: HubSpot, Aircall, GSuite, and Slack.

Benefits

  • The work is meaningful in a way that's rare this early in a sales career. You're not pitching a commodity - you're helping families get ahead of something hard, and most people you talk to are grateful for it.
  • Every lead is warm. You spend your time on conversations, not the chase.
  • You're joining at the right moment. We just closed our Series A, the team is small, and how you work will shape how the team works. Top performers will have a real path into senior and leadership roles as we scale.
  • The founders have done this before and will invest in your development - with real coaching, structure, and a playbook that actually works.
  • Competitive compensation: base salary + performance bonus, fully paid ramp period, equity, and full benefits.
  • Health: medical, dental, vision; FSA/HSA; One Medical, Kindbody, Talkspace, Teladoc.
  • Time off: 15 days PTO (with quota relief during ramp); 10 paid holidays.
  • Gear: MacBook + tools; $300 WFH stipend.
