Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute in vivo and PET imaging studies, from experimental design through advanced image analysis and data interpretation, with comprehensive reporting for both internal and external stakeholders. Continuously assess and integrate cutting-edge imaging technologies and novel imaging agents into research pipelines. Build and sustain collaborations with global leaders, external experts, and key opinion leaders in the imaging science field. Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed publications, presentations at international conferences, and other scientific communication channels. Engage with the broader scientific community by participating in external organizations, attending symposia, and leveraging workshops for ongoing professional growth and networking. Champion professional development aligned with Lilly’s core competencies, including driving innovation, engaging teams, operational accountability, strategic planning, agile learning, and navigating complex challenges. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in physical or biological sciences, biomedical engineering, or a related imaging field. At least 7 years of hands-on experience in molecular imaging, demonstrated by a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Preferred Skills & Experience: Extensive in vivo expertise, including rodent handling and proficiency with IV, PO, and SC dosing techniques PhD or equivalent advanced degree in an imaging-related discipline. Specialized imaging experience in oncology or neuroscience research. Proven expertise in small animal PET imaging modalities. Advanced skills in image analysis using platforms such as VivoQuant, Analyze, PMOD, or MATLAB. Enthusiasm for learning and applying emerging imaging technologies or novel therapeutic area biology to address evolving research needs. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Strong presentation and scientific storytelling abilities. Creative problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities. Demonstrated success as a collaborative, proactive team player. Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed for conferences, collaborations, and professional development. The anticipated wage for this position is $65,250 - $169,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
