About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. The Eurofins network of companies is the global leader in food, environment, pharmaceutical and cosmetic product testing and in agroscience Contract Research Organization services. This role will involve setting up and conducting in vitro experiments, maintaining cell lines, preparing test solutions, and meticulously maintaining records. The position also includes overseeing laboratory assays, creating assay schedules, and leading training for other scientists. The company is looking for a candidate with experience in cell culture and a preference for experience in a GLP setting.

Requirements

B.S. degree or equivalent experience in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science, or biology is preferred.
Must have 2 years of industry experience with cell culture

Prefer someone with hands-on experience in a GLP setting

Responsibilities

Set-up and conduct in vitro experiments in accordance with protocols and standard operating procedures.
Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision.
As appropriate, perform procedures under aseptic conditions.
Actively assist in development and execution of novel testing protocols and overall assay development.
Maintain cell lines.
Prepare test solutions in accordance with directions.
Meticulously maintain precise records in accordance with good laboratory practices.
Assist in writing of reports.
Follow all PSL safety requirements.
Oversees all laboratory assays and day to day procedures.
Creates and maintains lab assay schedule.
Leads training of In Vitro Scientists.
Other duties as assigned.
