About The Position

As an In-Store Shopper, also called a Drive Up & Go Clerk, you select high-quality products for customers who shop online. You move throughout the store picking items, checking quality, and making selections that meet customer expectations. You keep orders organized and ready for pickup by carefully bagging items, managing substitutions when needed, and coordinating orders for timely handoff. The work involves shopping, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pickup in a steady, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong attention to detail for product quality checks and order accuracy.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to comply with company policies, including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Comfort with continuous movement, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in different store areas.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience.
• Clear and professional communication when assisting with pickup orders.
• Organization and time-management skills to manage multiple orders while maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changing order volume and priorities.
• Ability to coordinate order needs with team members and department processes.

Responsibilities

• Select high-quality products across perishable and non-perishable departments for online orders.
• Check product quality and ensure order accuracy.
• Bag items carefully and keep orders organized for pickup or delivery.
• Manage substitutions when items are unavailable.
• Coordinate orders with customers and team members for timely handoff.
• Use handheld devices and digital systems to pick and track orders.
• Identify out-of-stock items and choose appropriate substitutions.
• Follow order fulfillment processes, company standards, and safety and sanitation policies.
