About The Position

As an In-Store Shopper, also called a Drive Up & Go Clerk, you select high-quality products for customers who shop online. You move throughout the store to pick items, check their quality, and make selections that meet customer expectations. You keep orders organized and ready for pickup by carefully bagging items, managing substitutions, and coordinating orders for timely handoff. The work includes shopping, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pickup in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail for product quality checks and order accuracy.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to comply with company policies, including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Comfort with continuous movement, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in different store areas.

• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience.

• Product selection skills across perishable and non-perishable departments.

Responsibilities

• Select high-quality perishable and non-perishable products for online customer orders.
• Check product quality and ensure order accuracy.
• Bag items carefully and keep orders organized for pickup or delivery.
• Manage substitutions when items are unavailable.
• Coordinate orders for timely customer handoff.
• Communicate professionally with customers during pickup.
• Use handheld devices and digital systems to pick and track orders.
• Identify out-of-stock items and choose appropriate substitutions.
• Follow order fulfillment processes, company standards, and safety, sanitation, and dress policies.
• Coordinate order needs with team members and adapt to changing order volumes and priorities.
