In-Store Sales Lead Generator
About The Position
American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Representatives / Lead Generators to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores. This role offers flexible scheduling, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time employment. You will engage with customers in a retail environment, identify their home comfort needs, and generate qualified leads for in-home consultations or service appointments. No prior HVAC experience is required, as paid training is provided. This is a great opportunity to build sales skills and advance within the home-services industry.
Requirements
- Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
- Ability to stand and walk during shifts
- Weekend and some holiday availability
- Reliable transportation
- Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
- Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
- Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law

- Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
- Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.

- Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.
- Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
- Work toward individual and team lead-generation goals.
- Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
