About The Position

The In-Store Sales Associate serves retail and small business customers through counter sales and customer service, including processing telephone orders, answering questions, resolving issues, and tracking order or shipment status. The role includes warehouse duties such as moving cylinders for customers and providing sales support to the Outside Sales team. The associate evaluates and recommends products, equipment, and programs; promotes add-on sales of gases and high-margin accessories; and conducts product demonstrations. The role also involves maintaining accurate customer records and account pricing, making outbound calls to retail and small business customers, selling at minimum discount to achieve target margins, and occasionally supporting additional locations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
No DUI, DWI, or other alcohol-related driving convictions within the last 10 years.

Nice To Haves

More than one year of customer service, inside sales, or counter sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
