In Room Dining Busperson
About The Position
The In-Room Dining Busperson is responsible for ensuring the hotel's hallways and guest rooms are clear of dirty Food and Beverage china, silverware, glassware and linen. This role also assists servers in table setup and clearing, delivers and refreshes guest amenities, and replenishes clean linens and food supplies for the department. The busperson will clean and polish IRD tables, hot boxes, refrigerators, coffee urns, and maintain the cleanliness of the IRD department area. Additionally, they may run errands and deliver food orders to offices and hotel rooms, while adhering to hotel safety rules and regulations. The position requires consistent professional, engaging, and friendly service.
Requirements
- Ability to deliver engaging guest service
- Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Lift and carry items up to 50lbs i.e. linen and delivery trays
- use hands and fingers skillfully and easily
- Carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a simple routine
