The In-House Tailor is responsible for performing and completing alterations according to Indochino’s guidelines and service standards. This role requires a strong knowledge of garment fitting, fabrics, styling, manufacturing techniques, garment construction, and men’s suiting. The tailor will provide sound advice on the product, manage customer expectations regarding lead times, and maintain an accurate record of alterations. They will also coordinate with external alteration vendors, identify quality discrepancies, and assist with customer fittings during busy periods. Additionally, the role involves educating customers and showroom staff on fitting techniques, resolving customer service issues related to alterations, and ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment. A customer-centric approach and enthusiasm for the product and brand are essential.
