In House Marketing Coordinator
About The Position
Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an In House Marketing Coordinator to represent the company in person at its resorts. The coordinator engages prospective and current owners, encourages prospective customers to attend a sales-preview presentation, and schedules guests to meet with a representative. The role involves working with resort staff, qualifying potential customers, making reservations, and collecting required deposits. The position also requires attending training and department meetings, staying informed about marketing materials and industry trends, and setting and reviewing performance goals. Work is performed within the home site's area, with no travel required outside that area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills, and smart devices.
- Must maintain production standards.
Nice To Haves
- Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred but not required; 1 to 3 years is preferred.
- Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations.
- Partner with resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in.
- Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour or presentation in accordance with company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines.
- Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits.
- Maintain minimum performance goals.
- Attend scheduled training sessions and department meetings.
- Keep current on marketing information, materials, and industry trends.
- Set and review performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually.
