About The Position

Signify Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a part-time physician to conduct in-home health evaluations and help bridge gaps in care. Visits last about 45 minutes and include a one-on-one conversation, medication and medical history review, and a physical evaluation. Additional diagnostic tests, such as diabetic eye exams or spirometry, may be provided when ordered by the person’s health plan. Physicians use an iPad and an intuitive clinical workflow. They are not required to prescribe medication, order lab tests, or change a person’s current treatment regimen.

The physician will join a national network of clinicians working to improve health outcomes and connect people with care suited to their needs. The role requires local travel and travel within licensed states as needed, virtual visits as needed, and delivery of Signify Health services, including Diagnostic & Preventive Services products. The primary workplace is members’ private residences. Home environments vary and may include household pets, secondhand smoke, and other airborne allergens or irritants; clinicians must be able to perform their duties safely and comfortably in these conditions.

The position is part-time, with 29.5 anticipated weekly hours. Part-time employees qualify for select benefits and malpractice insurance coverage during Signify Health-related activities, as well as supplies and other perks. Depending on hours worked and eligibility, benefits may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs. The typical pay range is $105.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Hold an active, unrestricted medical license in the coverage area(s).
• Be able to comfortably and safely perform duties in members’ homes, which may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, or other airborne allergens or irritants.
