About The Position

Visiting Angels of Humble is hiring In Home Housekeepers or Caregivers to serve clients in Kingwood, Atasocita, Huffman, Dayton, Cleveland, and surrounding local areas. Caregivers support clients’ wellness and improve their quality of life in accordance with individualized care plans. The role may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, medication reminders, transportation, and responding to emergencies. Advanced training opportunities are available in areas such as dementia and Alzheimer’s care. The posting offers flexible scheduling, competitive wages, growth opportunities, and multiple shift options, including full-time, part-time, PRN, and short shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for transporting clients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
First Aid and emergency-response training; training is provided if needed.
Excellent time-management skills and ability to manage multiple duties at once.
Reliable transportation to and from client homes at scheduled care times.
Physical endurance for tasks such as carrying groceries and physically supporting a client.
Comfort performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints.
Ability and willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards, such as background checks.
Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients’ days.

Responsibilities

Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
Plan and prepare meals with clients while observing dietary constraints.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Report health changes or unusual incidents.
Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
Assist clients with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments or errands.
Transport clients using a personal vehicle.
