About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home services to clients in the local area. Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. Prior experience is not required; the employer provides paid, in-office initial training and ongoing training. Compensation is $12.00–$18.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience, with an additional $1–$4 per hour available on select shifts. Daily Pay is offered, allowing employees to get paid the day after working. The role offers flexible scheduling and a friendly, supportive work atmosphere. The local franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by its management.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Pass a background check as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
Assist with meal preparation and serving, clean meal preparation areas, and help clients eat as needed.
Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including using a laundromat if needed.
Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and visiting the post office.
Assist with activities of daily living, shopping, transportation, and telehealth visits.
Provide companionship.
Be reliable, dependable, punctual, and rarely absent.
