About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking caring, compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home services to clients in their local area. Caregivers help patients remain safe and independent in their homes by assisting with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, errands, transportation, and companionship. The agency offers competitive pay based on certifications and experience, flexible scheduling, and paid in-office training; prior experience is not required. Daily Pay is available, and select shifts offer an additional $1 to $4 per hour in shift differentials. The role requires maintaining patient confidentiality and being reliable, dependable, and punctual. The position is with an independently owned and operated franchise; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the local franchisee.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have reliable transportation.
Pass a background check as required by state requirements.

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal preparation areas, and helping clients eat as needed.
Provide personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
Perform light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including using a laundromat when needed.
Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
Assist with shopping, transportation, and telehealth visits.
Aid clients with activities of daily living and provide companionship.
Be reliable, dependable, and punctual, with rare absences.
