In Home Caregiver - Now Offering Daily Pay
About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate caregiver to provide services to clients in their homes and local areas. Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants help clients remain independent and safe in their own homes. Prior experience is not required; the employer provides paid in-office training, including initial and ongoing training. Compensation is based on certifications and experience, and daily pay is available. The role offers flexible scheduling and a friendly, supportive work atmosphere. Caregivers assist with activities of daily living, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, transportation, and companionship. They must maintain confidentiality of patient information and be reliable and punctual. Each Home Helpers Home Care location is an independently owned and operated franchise; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the local franchisee.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check in accordance with state requirements.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Nice To Haves
- Prior caregiving experience is not required.
- Personal Care Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant certifications are relevant; compensation is based in part on certifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
- Prepare and serve meals, assist clients with eating when needed, and clean meal-preparation areas.
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning refrigerators, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including using a laundromat if needed.
- Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation, including grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and post-office trips.
- Assist clients with telehealth visits.
- Provide companionship.
- Be reliable and punctual, and rarely be absent from work.
