About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate caregiver to provide services to clients in their homes and local area. Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants help patients remain independent and safe in their own homes. Prior experience is not required; the company provides paid, in-office initial training and ongoing training. Compensation is based on certifications and experience, with additional hourly shift differentials of $1 to $4 on select shifts. Daily Pay is available, allowing employees to work today and get paid tomorrow. The role offers flexible scheduling and a friendly, supportive work atmosphere.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Must pass a background check as required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

Personal Care Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant certification; compensation is based in part on certifications.
Prior experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning preparation areas, and helping patients eat as needed.
Provide personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
Perform light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning refrigerators, and washing and putting away dishes.
Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including using a laundromat if needed.
Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
Assist with shopping, transportation, and telehealth visits.
Provide companionship to clients.
Be reliable, dependable, punctual, and rarely absent from work.
