About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to help patients remain independent and safe in their own homes. Prior experience is not required. The company provides paid in-office training to help new caregivers start their careers. Pay is based on certifications and experience, with an additional $1 to $4 per hour available on select shifts through shift differentials. Daily pay is available, allowing employees to get paid the day after working. Scheduling is flexible.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check as required by state regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
• Assist with meal preparation and serving, clean meal preparation areas, and help patients eat as needed and applicable.
• Provide personal care, including tub, shower, or bed baths; dressing; grooming; denture care; and skin care.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
• Complete laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry; use a laundromat if needed.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies, and visiting the post office.
• Be reliable, dependable, rarely absent, and punctual.
