About The Position

Safe Hands Warm Hearts (SHWH) is a fast-growing, family-owned agency serving clients across Michigan, specializing in helping Medicaid and Medicaid Waiver clients maintain their independence at home. The agency seeks compassionate caregivers to provide hands-on personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living. Caregivers may also transport clients to appointments or run errands using their own vehicles.

Requirements

• Have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Pass a comprehensive background check.
• Be comfortable using a smartphone for GPS clock-ins and EVV compliance.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of home care experience is preferred; training may be provided to the right candidate.
• Having a backup plan for car trouble is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care (peri-care).
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Run errands or drive clients to appointments using a personal vehicle.
