In Home Caregiver - Now Offering Daily Pay
About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate caregiver to provide services to clients in their homes and local area. Caregivers help clients remain independent and safe at home by supporting personal care and activities of daily living. Prior experience is not required; the company provides paid, in-office initial training and ongoing training. Compensation is $11.00–$18.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience. The role offers flexible scheduling and daily pay, with employees able to work today and get paid tomorrow. Caregivers may assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, shopping, transportation, prescription pickup, telehealth visits, and companionship. Employees are expected to protect patient confidentiality and be reliable and punctual. Each Home Helpers Home Care location is an independently owned and operated franchise; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the local franchisee.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check as required by state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, clean meal preparation areas, and help clients eat as needed and applicable.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
- Perform housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including completing laundry at a laundromat if needed.
- Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, transportation, telehealth visits, and shopping.
- Provide companionship.
- Be reliable, dependable, rarely absent, and punctual.
