About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients. The position offers full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules, with weekday, weekend, and overnight availability. PCA training is provided for interested applicants who are not certified. The company provides weekly pay, PPE, and ongoing training. Full-time PCAs may be eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for people interested in becoming PCAs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable disposition.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as transfers from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior.
