About The Position

Lifesteps is hiring compassionate staff to support adults with disabilities in a residential home setting in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) assist with activities of daily living and home care, including dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transportation to doctor appointments. No experience is necessary; paid training is provided. Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals are welcome.

Full-time hours are available on morning shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or overnight shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Part-time hours with flexible scheduling are also available.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 pounds with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.
• No experience is necessary; paid training is provided.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a home health aide, nurse’s aide, support assistant, or direct support professional.

Responsibilities

• Cook and serve meals.
• Clean the house.
• Shop for groceries and supplies.
• Assist with personal care, including grooming and bathing.
• Administer medication.
• Assist individuals with attaining their goals.
• Support community outings and fun activities.
• Assist adults with disabilities with daily activities, including dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transportation to doctor appointments.
