About The Position

New Hope In-Home Care is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults in Spring Hill, Tennessee, and nearby communities. The role supports clients in remaining safe and independent in their homes through individualized assistance based on each client’s care plan. Professional caregiving experience and family caregiving experience are both accepted. The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, including weekend shifts, with flexible scheduling. Work is performed in person at clients’ homes throughout the Columbia and Spring Hill area. Caregiver training and service monitoring are provided. Compensation is $14–$15 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving experience; professional or family caregiving experience is accepted.
Compassion, patience, dependability, and respectfulness.
Effective communication with clients, families, and New Hope staff.
Reliable travel to assigned client homes.
A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification.
Successful completion of required background, registry, and pre-employment screenings in accordance with applicable law and company policy.
Ability to follow written care plans and accurately document completed services.

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical in-home care and personal assistance according to each client’s care plan.
Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
Plan and prepare meals.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities.
Assist with safe transportation when required by the assignment.
Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or needs.
Follow the client’s care plan and New Hope policies.
Document completed services accurately.
Remain calm and follow appropriate procedures during emergencies.
