About The Position

Care to Stay Home is preparing to expand home care services into Priest River, Sandpoint, and surrounding North Idaho communities. The organization is building a local caregiver applicant pool for future client needs; client assignments and immediate work hours are not yet available or guaranteed. When assignments become available, caregivers will provide personalized, one-on-one support to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Future assignments pay $17–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Potential part-time and full-time opportunities may develop as local services grow. The role offers training and development, career advancement opportunities, and support from a local team.

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred; experience caring for family members or loved ones is also welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily routines.
• Support mobility and help prevent falls.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation as authorized.
• Support clients with dementia, Parkinson's, and other age-related care needs.
