About The Position
Clear Path Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide quality care to clients in the Plano, Texas area. The current opening is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Multiple openings are available, with varied schedules and hours, including part-time, full-time, or PRN work. Assignments may be 4, 8, or 12 hours and may include weekday or weekend shifts. Actual schedules depend on client needs, available assignments, and caregiver availability. Caregivers assist clients with daily living and personal care, provide companionship, help with meals and light housekeeping, and support transportation to appointments and activities. They help maintain a safe and comfortable environment and communicate with clients, families, and the care team. Requirements
- At least one year of previous caregiving experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
- Incontinence care experience.
- Experience assisting clients with mobility, transfers, and personal care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide incontinence care and personal hygiene assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or well-being to management.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Prepare and serve meals according to clients’ dietary needs and restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, sweeping, and dusting.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and recreational activities.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other members of the care team.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
