About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring and compassionate caregiver to provide services to a client in the local area. Caregivers help patients remain safe and independent in their own homes by assisting with daily activities, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and companionship. Prior experience is not required. The company offers paid in-office initial training and ongoing training, flexible scheduling, competitive compensation based on certifications and experience, and daily pay. Select shifts offer an additional $1 to $4 per hour. The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and passing state-required background and drug screenings. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, clean meal preparation areas, and help patients eat as needed.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
- Complete light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including completing laundry at a laundromat if needed.
- Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
- Assist with shopping, transportation, and telehealth visits.
- Provide companionship.
- Be reliable, dependable, punctual, and rarely absent from work.
