About The Position
As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support to clients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. The role may involve day, morning, evening, night, overnight, and weekend shifts as needed. Requirements
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred.
- Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
- Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changes.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior.
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
