In-Home Caregiver – Goshen, VA
About The Position
AmeriCare Plus, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver (CNA, NA, or PCA) to provide in-home personal care to a male veteran client in Goshen, Virginia. The position is part-time for 9 hours per week, with 4½-hour shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays; morning hours are preferred. Additional hours may be available for caregivers willing to travel. The home has no smoking and no pets. The caregiver will support the client’s personal care, mobility, meals, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping, and will monitor and report changes in the client’s health or behavior. The role offers weekly pay and a referral bonus program. AmeriCare Plus also provides PPE and an AmeriCoins rewards program, through which caregivers can earn coins for activities such as punctuality, picking up open shifts, completing hours, receiving client compliments, and completing surveys; coins can be redeemed for gift cards. Online training is provided for those interested in PCA certification.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Must pass a background check per State and Federal requirements.
