In-Home Caregiver PCA/CNA - Shallotte
About The Position
Care Providers of Wilmington is hiring compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care in and around the Shallotte, NC area. The role includes personal care, mobility and safety support, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companion care. Caregivers may support clients with dementia through conversation, activities, and gentle redirection. Training is provided, including for people who are new to home care. The company describes itself as veteran-owned and serves Duplin, New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, and Onslow Counties.
Requirements
- At least one year of senior care experience is preferred but not required.
- Compassion and interest in pursuing a caregiving career.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing and dressing.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Help with fall prevention, mobility, bed-bound care, and safety.
- Provide companion care, including cognitive support for clients with dementia through conversation, activities, and gentle redirection.
