About The Position

Commonwise is seeking dedicated and compassionate in-home caregivers to help clients maintain their safety, independence, and quality of life. The role welcomes a wide range of care professionals, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, PCAs, HHAs, PCTs, MedTechs, Nurse Aides, Companions, PT Assistants, and nursing students. Caregivers provide reliable, compassionate assistance to clients and their families, including support with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. Scheduling is flexible, with morning, evening, and night preferences accommodated. Commonwise provides caregiver mentorship, training, 24/7 support, professional development, and recognition.

Requirements

• Have strong communication, visual, and auditory abilities.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 20–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending is required.
• Driving may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with clients and families.
• Provide reliable and compassionate care.
• Advocate for clients in community settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and feeding.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and support with hobbies and interests.
• Support clients in maintaining their safety, independence, and quality of life.
