In-Home Caregiver / CNA
About The Position
Companion at Home is a family-owned Oklahoma company with more than 22 years in home care and more than 50 years in senior healthcare. The company is hiring caregivers to serve seniors in their homes. Candidates without a CNA license may be able to earn one: the company covers the cost of the class and pays candidates while they attend. The role offers part-time and full-time hours. Pay is $14.50–$16.50 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour for nights and weekends. Other offerings include mileage reimbursement, paid travel time between clients, on-call program incentives, paid annual training, and additional pay for Dementia Certification.
Requirements
- Customer service-oriented attitude and energy.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Agency-required auto liability insurance.
- At least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- CPR license.
- CNA license.
- Home care experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to seniors in their homes with a positive attitude.
- Assist seniors with daily routines, personal care, light housekeeping, meals, and transportation.
- Keep the company’s nurses informed about clients’ well-being.
