About The Position

Mind & Mobility is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality care in clients’ homes. The role supports seniors’ independence, dignity, and quality of life through personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, mobility support, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship. The caregiver works with clients, families, and the care team to maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment. This is a PRN (as-needed) position. Hours are flexible and depend on caregiver availability and client needs; the organization will work with caregivers to build schedules that align with their preferred hours whenever possible. The posting lists a schedule of Monday through Sunday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. and 5 p.m.–9 p.m.

Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving or home care experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable personal vehicle.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Ability to complete a Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

CNA license, HHA certificate, or verifiable medical background.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Prepare meals and cook according to clients’ dietary needs and restrictions.
Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing clients’ living spaces.
Monitor and record vital signs, medication reminders, and medical documentation as required.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
Run errands or provide transportation as needed.
