In-Home Caregiver- CNA/ Home Health Aide
About The Position
Mind & Mobility is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality in-home care in St. Cloud, Florida. The caregiver assists clients with personal care and activities of daily living, mobility, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship. The role works with clients, families, and the care team to promote safety, respect, independence, and quality of life. This is a PRN, as-needed position with flexible hours based on caregiver availability and client needs. The organization works with caregivers to build schedules that align with their preferred hours and availability.
Requirements
- At least one year of professional caregiving or home care experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Must complete a Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Nice To Haves
- CNA license, HHA certificate, or verifiable medical background.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals and cook according to dietary needs and restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing clients’ living spaces.
- Monitor and record vital signs, provide medication reminders, and complete medical documentation as required.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
- Provide errands or transportation as needed.
