Implementation Specialist I
About The Position
The Implementation Specialist I leads client implementations of Asure’s payroll tax product, translating client requirements into accurate, scalable configurations. The role supports successful product adoption by defining requirements, configuring solutions, delivering training, validating results through testing, and owning implementation outcomes from kickoff through stabilization. The specialist manages implementation scope, quality, and timelines across discovery, configuration, training, deployment, and support for the client’s first two successful payrolls. The role also provides project updates, coordinates with clients and internal teams to address obstacles, and works to build client advocacy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience supporting clients with US payroll and/or tax processing.
- At least 2 years of success in a dedicated account ownership service model.
- Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and payroll principles.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
Nice To Haves
- CPP, FPC, PHR, or SHRM-CP certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end client implementations and build accurate configurations using product expertise.
- Identify client business requirements during discovery.
- Configure Asure’s tax solution to meet client requirements.
- Deliver group presentations and training on the configured solution.
- Deploy implementations successfully and support clients through their first two successful payrolls.
- Manage implementation scope, quality, and timelines, and deliver results on time.
- Promote client adoption of the product and Asure procedures.
- Provide status reports and project updates to the project team.
- Anticipate and resolve project hurdles through coordination with clients and internal teams.
- Create positive client experiences and encourage customers to serve as references.
