About The Position

Asure Software is seeking an Implementation Specialist I to lead client implementations of its payroll tax product. The specialist translates client requirements into accurate, scalable configurations and guides customers from kickoff through stabilization. The role includes discovery, solution configuration, training, deployment, testing and support through the first two successful payrolls. The specialist is accountable for implementation scope, quality and timelines, and works with clients and internal teams to resolve hurdles, encourage product adoption and deliver positive customer outcomes. This is a hybrid position based out of Asure’s Virginia Beach, Virginia office, with 1–3 days per week in the office.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience supporting clients with US payroll and/or tax processing.
• At least 2 years of success in a dedicated account ownership service model.
• Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws and payroll principles.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

Nice To Haves

• CPP, FPC, PHR or SHRM-CP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end client implementations, using product expertise to build accurate configurations and deliver successful outcomes.
• Identify client business requirements during discovery.
• Configure Asure’s tax solution to meet client requirements.
• Deliver training on the configured Asure tax solution, including group presentations and training sessions.
• Deploy solutions and successfully complete implementations.
• Support clients through their first two successful payrolls.
• Manage implementation scope, quality and timelines, and deliver results on time.
• Ensure clients adopt the product and Asure procedures.
• Provide status reports and project updates to the project team.
• Anticipate and resolve project hurdles by coordinating effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Build client advocacy and leave customers willing to provide references.
