About The Position

The Implementation Specialist I - Treasury Management ensures the smooth implementation of Treasury products. The role develops client-specific project plans aligned with service level agreements and customer objectives, coordinating internal partners and resources to deliver implementations on time and within budget. It gathers and documents requirements, facilitates communications and recurring meetings, and provides program updates to customers and internal Account Managers. The specialist reviews contract completion and product setup accuracy, identifies solutions to meet client objectives, and provides initial system training for customers new to Commerce Bank or a service. The position is based at 1000 Walnut St, Kansas City, Missouri 64106.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of experience in implementation, project management, sales, or portfolio management.
Basic understanding of contract language, Operating Rules, regulations and requirements, and various modes of processing.
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Inquisitive, agile team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient with an optimistic outlook and demonstrate behavior aligned with the company’s culture and Core Values.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Payment experience, including ACH, wires, electronic banking, lockbox, or transmissions.
Commercial and/or Treasury experience.

Responsibilities

Develop client-specific project plans to meet commitments in service level agreement plans.
Create project plans aligned with client objectives and goals, collaborating with internal teams such as IT and Operations to deliver implementations on time and within budget.
Gather and document requirements, communicate, and hold recurring meetings as needed to meet program goals based on product and implementation type.
Coordinate multiple resources proactively to ensure clients’ objectives are met.
Act as a liaison between internal operational partners and stakeholders throughout implementation.
Provide accurate and proactive program updates to customers and internal Account Managers.
Review contract completion for accuracy and validate product setups.
Identify and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure clients’ objectives are met.
Provide initial system training for customers new to Commerce Bank or a service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
