Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in immigration law, especially in Removal Defense, and humanitarian applications (VAWA, U visas, T visas)
- Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal)
- Clear, professional, and compassionate communication skills
- Highly organized and comfortable using legal and office software, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment with clear processes and shared goals
- Emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and motivated by a sense of purpose
Responsibilities
- Communicating with clients to gather documentation and finalize legal packets for VAWA, T visas, U visas, Adjustment of Status, and removal defense cases
- Drafting and editing affidavits, immigration forms, and supporting documentation
- Managing case files and tracking key deadlines for filings, court appearances, and USCIS submissions
- Performing legal research to support attorneys on complex or time-sensitive matters
- Ensuring client needs are addressed with empathy, efficiency, and excellence
- Contributing positively to a highly structured and collaborative team environment
