About The Position

Chugh LLP, a full-service law firm with an accounting and immigration practice, is seeking a motivated Immigration Paralegal for its Santa Clara, California office. This is a full-time, in-office position. The paralegal prepares and files immigration petitions and related documents, including H-1B and L-1 visa petitions and PERM labor certifications.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and the ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file a variety of petitions, including H-1B petitions, L-1 visas for intra-company transferees, and PERM labor certifications.
• Prepare draft applications, petitions, letters, and affidavits.
• Coordinate the filing of applications and petitions.
