About The Position

Legacy Health is seeking an Imaging Support Specialist for Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center, a full-service medical center serving the South Metro area. The position performs clerical, computer information systems, and support functions, including processing and managing related data. Support may cover outpatient admissions and order entry, exam scheduling and coordination, handling medical images in PACS, document scanning and film file room operations, and phone and fax communications. The role also provides general clerical support across imaging departments and may include patient transportation or other technical and patient-related duties as assigned. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of experience in radiology or a related medical field and medical terminology are preferred. BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association is required for employees assigned patient care duties. The listed pay range is USD $22.32–$31.90 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Communication, customer service, and reception skills.
• Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
• Filing skills.
• BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association is required for those assigned patient care duties.
