About The Position

Provides direct patient care consistent with established standards of practice, Mercy’s goals, and the Mercy Code of Conduct. Responsible for supplies, stocking, equipment cleaning, and patient care in Imaging Services as needed. Performs related duties as assigned and carries out responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport patients.
• Ability to recognize emergency situations and adapt to stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Imaging Services as needed.
• Manage supplies and stocking.
• Clean equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
