iLEAD Finance Leadership Summit (May 2027)
About The Position
The iLEAD (I Learn Explore Achieve Develop) Accounting & Finance Leadership Summit is an opportunity for freshmen/sophomore students to meet with Accounting and Finance leaders at Transamerica. This two-day, unpaid networking and professional development event will be held in-person at the Cedar Rapids office on Tuesday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 19, 2027. Participants will gain a firsthand look at career paths within the company, hear from industry leaders, network with full-time employees, and explore the finance and accounting fields. The event aims to provide participants with greater industry knowledge and personal development, and serves as an opportunity to make an impression on hiring leaders for future internships.
Requirements
- Pursuing a major in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management & Insurance, Management Information Systems, and/or Business Analytics majors or similar fields.
- Participants will be selected based on academic achievements, initiative, leadership, extracurricular activities, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Undergraduate student who, as of the spring of 2027, will have at least two years remaining in their education prior to graduation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in group activities to network with fellow student leaders and Transamerica professionals.
- Gain exposure to Transamerica’s rich culture while working in departments such as Internal Audit, Corporate Tax, Investment Reporting, and Management Reporting.
