About The Position

The iLEAD (I Learn Explore Achieve Develop) Accounting & Finance Leadership Summit is an opportunity for freshmen/sophomore students to meet with Accounting and Finance leaders at Transamerica. This two-day, in-person event provides participants with a firsthand look at career paths within the company, offering insights into corporate finance and accounting fields such as tax, internal audit, and financial reporting. It's a chance to network with full-time employees, gain industry knowledge, and get a jump start on future internship recruiting processes.

Requirements

• Must be a freshman or sophomore student.
• Must have at least two more years of schooling remaining following the event in May 2027.
• Pursuing a major in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management & Insurance, Management Information Systems, and/or Business Analytics majors or similar fields.
• Selected based on academic achievements, initiative, leadership, extracurricular activities, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a two-day leadership summit.
• Network with Transamerica leaders and full-time employees.
• Gain exposure to corporate finance and accounting departments including tax, internal audit, and financial reporting.
• Participate in group activities and learn about the company culture.
• Make an impression on hiring leaders for future internship opportunities.
