About The Position

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dependable part-time IHSS Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to support its In-Home Support Services program in Colorado Springs, with occasional coverage in Pueblo as needed. The position is approximately 20–25 hours per month and pays $40.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement. It offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to support adults and seniors while promoting meaningful daily activities and functional independence.

The RN Supervisor provides nursing oversight to IHSS clients and personal care attendants, including supervisory visits, care-plan review, caregiver competency assessments, education, and support. The role collaborates with clients, families, caregivers, and case managers; monitors care-plan and program compliance; investigates and documents complaints or critical incidents; and maintains accurate clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 1,200 hours of RN experience.
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Colorado Springs and Pueblo as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing supervision and oversight of IHSS clients and personal care attendants.
• Conduct supervisory visits and review individualized care plans.
• Assess and validate caregiver skills and competencies.
• Educate and support attendants regarding client care and safety.
• Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and case managers.
• Monitor compliance with care plans and IHSS program requirements.
• Investigate and document complaints or critical incidents.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide occasional coverage in Pueblo as needed.
