About The Position
QubicaAMF Worldwide LLC is looking for a safety-conscious welder to weld various production products used in the manufacturing of bowling equipment, such as Pin-spotters, Lane Cleaning Machines, Ball Returns, Furniture bases, and String Machines. The role involves welding various production products, maintaining company quality standards, and assisting in the construction and repair of jigs and fixtures. The welder will also learn and operate various fabrication equipment, follow and maintain knowledge of safety protocols, and consult blueprints to execute jobs and tasks to specification.
Requirements
- Ability to read drawings of 3-dimensional parts and to understand simple mathematical equations.
- A high school degree or equivalent.
- Use to handling large parts on your own.
- Must have MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
- Knowledge of welding methods for various types of metal.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints.
- Skill in using and caring for welding tools and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be a Team Player.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift overhead and handle large parts.
- Must be able to work the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, and overtime when required.
