Seasonal Ice Cream Host
About The Position
Stew Leonard’s is hiring a seasonal, part-time Ice Cream Host/Hostess. Hosts greet and assist customers, manage wait lines, answer product questions, offer recommendations, and weigh and price products ordered at the service bar. They make and serve ice cream treats such as cones, cups, and milkshakes, as well as coffee. They keep their work area organized and clean, follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations, and assist with other duties as assigned. The role focuses on providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and creating a welcoming, memorable shopping experience.
Requirements
- Entry-level position; no prior experience is required.
- Safely use tools and equipment used in the daily operation of the department.
- Provide great customer service.
- Have good oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate a great work ethic, problem-solving ability, self-motivation, flexibility, and honesty.
Responsibilities
